Gigifier ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our service. We are aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

Information we collect from artists

When you sign up as an artist, we ask for minimal information so you can focus on your artist persona. We only request what is necessary to create and manage your EPK (Electronic Press Kit) and account. We do not require or store unnecessary personal details.

EPK and feature tracking — no personal data

When someone opens or interacts with your EPK, our tracking is designed with privacy in mind:

Only actions are tracked — such as page views, section views, and clicks on links (e.g. Spotify, socials). We do not collect or store any personal details about the person opening the EPK.
We do not identify visitors — we do not track who the viewer is. No names, emails, IP addresses, or other identifiers are stored in relation to EPK views. You see aggregated insights (e.g. that your EPK was opened, which sections were viewed), not who opened it.

This approach keeps our analytics useful for artists while respecting the privacy of everyone who views an EPK.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we process data on the basis of consent, contract performance, or legitimate interest as appropriate. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability where applicable. You may also object to certain processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Data retention and security

We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
